Join a leading global law firm as an experienced Desktop Applications Engineer, you will manage and support core productivity applications, including Microsoft Office and Litera Desktop, within a dynamic legal environment. This role involves complex troubleshooting, developing training materials for frontline support, and automating software deployments.- Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provides expert-level support for applications and document issues, often engaging directly with users for advanced troubleshooting.
- Develops documentation, training, and communication resources aimed at enhancing "first-call" resolution for support teams.
- Conducts initial product testing and designs test scripts for the dedicated QA team.
- Utilizes scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, SCCM) to deploy software at scale, gather system data, and resolve issues.
- Engages with business stakeholders to understand challenges and advocates for user needs with vendors.
- Conducts research on best practices and monitors legal industry application trends.

Qualifications
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in Windows desktop engineering within enterprise environments, with expertise in SCCM and PowerShell.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document processing tools; familiarity with software packaging using InstallShield/AutoIt; strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 management.
- Availability: Willingness to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis, with the ability to access systems within 1 hour when needed.
