Key technology and skills needed:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a dedicated IT Asset Management role
- Experience renewing and purchasing software
- Auditing and billing experience using Azure/Cloud software
- Experience tracking and managing software assets with an ITSM, e.g. ServiceNow
- Experience liaising and negotiating with vendors and 3rd parties
- Stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills
Role overview:
- Manage Software Assets: Ensure compliance and optimize the full software asset life cycle.
- Handle Azure Billing: Oversee and review Azure invoicing and subscription processes.
- Enhance Processes: Define and improve Software Asset Management procedures.
- Collaborate with Vendors: Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Conduct Audits: Regularly audit licenses and ensure software compliance.
