Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience level)

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Engineer/ Modern Workplace Engineer to join a prestigious law firm based in Chancery Lane, London. This hybrid role requires three days in the office, offering you the perfect balance between office and remote work.

About the Role: As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the firm's IT operations. You'll manage and maintain the firm's IT infrastructure, including operating systems, software, and hardware. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the Azure platform and ensuring network efficiency and security. You'll collaborate with the IT Director, IT Manager and Senior staff to implement and maintain information security systems and provide advanced desktop technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee desktop infrastructure and Azure platform
  • Ensure network efficiency and security with MSP oversight
  • Design, implement, and maintain information security systems
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Lead on global IT projects and collaborate with 3rd party vendors
  • Handle OS and software patch management

Key Skills Needed:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra AD, InTune, Autopilot, Endpoint Manager, PowerShell and Azure
  • Experience with Legal applications; iManage, Aderant, InTapp.
  • Proficiency in network architecture, information security, and vendor management
  • Industry certifications (e.g., M365 Associate, M365 Expert) are preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and client-focused approach to problem-solving
