We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a prestigious international law firm based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a diverse range of technology-driven projects across the firm.
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of various IT projects, including but not limited to AI initiatives, document management system (DMS) upgrades, cloud migrations, and HR solutions such as SuccessFactors. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects through their full life cycle, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring all resources and tasks are well-coordinated.
- Monitor project progress, track risks, and make adjustments as needed to maintain project alignment with business goals.
- Regularly report on project status, budget, risks, and timelines to internal stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships, including those with legal tech providers like iManage and Intapp.
- Work in a highly agile environment, adapting to fast-paced and changing project requirements.
- Ensure projects are closed effectively, with comprehensive lessons learned and post-project reviews.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong experience managing full life-cycle IT projects in an Agile environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading project teams, including vendors, internal tech staff, and business analysts.
- Excellent understanding of project budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within a PMO framework and adhering to best practices in project management.
- A solid understanding of enterprise-wide systems, applications, and solutions.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
